COPD Medication

Two kinds of drugs compose the drug therapy:
Bronchodilatation

Bronchodilatation aims at expanding the bronchi to ease the breathing. Active agents are anticholinergics and beta-2-sympathomimetica.

Glucocorticoids

These drugs have immunorepressive and anti-inflammatory qualities and are mostly applied in severe cases.
